In this blog I address why oats in US and Europe can be labelled gluten-free and why no oats in Australia (even if grown in Europe where they could be labelled gluten-free) can be labelled ‘gluten-free’. Plus I also look at the stand the Ceoliac Society takes on this matter and why all the confusion reigns and people believe there really is such a think as gluten-free oats.
