This post hits on where I am trying to head.
I wish to purchase either milled wheat using a non mass production wheat grown without chemicals (organic?) or alternatively the straight grain itself.
The problem with the smaller millers is that it is just way too expensive to make one’s own bread as the product is out of reach. Purchase DIRECT from the producer/growr would likely bridge that gap.
Can you suggest a smaller producer who could fill that requirement as I’d absolutely love to get away from buying the old preservative infested out of the freezer rubbish they call ‘bread’.
