Casey는 웨스트달링 평원의 돌비 마을 부근에서 100헥타르의 농장을 협력재배하고 있습니다.

이 지역의 비옥한 흑색 충적토는 “염기성 중점토”입니다. 이런 토양은 보습 기능이 있어 호주 최고 곡물을 재배할 수 있습니다.

협력농민인 Casey는 농장에 살지 않고 매일 통근합니다. 협력농민은 소유주에게 소득의 일부를 지급하여야 합니다. 농장이 없는 젊은이들은 이런 식으로 재배 사업을 시작할 수 있고 동시에 나이 든 소유주들의 부담을 줄일 수 있습니다.

Casey는 Kialla에게 제공하는 밀과 수수를 재배합니다. 이들은 5월 전후로 재배되어야 하고 이미 내린 강우량에 따라 결정됩니다, 10월 혹은 11월에 농작물들이 모두 말랐을 때 수확합니다.
